We provide care to allow you to remain as independent as possible and assist you with activities of daily living. Our professional and discreet service ensures that your dignity and independence is maintained at all times.

In consultation with you, the level of care is assessed in order for us to provide you with a personalised service. We then prepare an individual care plan for you; this is frequently reviewed to ensure we continue to meet your care needs.

The Home has recently been refurbished with the colour schemes which have been taken from the Iris Murdoch Centre at Stirling University.  The Iris Murdoch Centre is a dementia services development centre which is an up-to-date resource on all aspects of dementia and also specialises in creating environments for people living with dementia.

Dementia Care

There are an estimated 800,000 people in the United Kingdom who have some form of dementia. This figure is expected to rise to over 1.5 million by 2050 (Alzheimer’s Society).

Clydeview Care Home recognises that caring for someone with dementia has its challenges and therefore cannot be approached in the same way that we care for others.

We use Person Centred Care planning for those with Dementia, which puts more focus on the person and less focus on the tasks. We collect information on the resident's past which helps us engage with them and allows them to engage with us using their long term memories as the basis for interaction.

All of our carers are given Dementia awareness training.
